Most of us get bogged down due to our conditioned responses to various stuff. So does that mean we start afresh, anew? Like bruce lee said, 'empty our minds'? While nature has us wired to think of conditioned responses as useful and utilitarian, it certainly, for the most part, makes us dull, stupid, dogmatic and perhaps unhappy.

Brain chatter : left, right et al
Ok. it's been a while (no reference to Staind).
I find that i blog only when i'm high. And from a recent outstanding video i watched (http://www.ted.com/index.php
Right brain: Pink floyd, mushrooms, ocean breeze, vedic chants, art, eureka, tree-huggers, share my food..etc.
Left brain: Career, arguments, proofs, 100/100 in tests, scud missiles, i'm great, you suck, i need cash, i want food.. etc.
EACH one of us exhibit the above to varying degrees. And what's amazing is we have the power to choose what we project externally. It struck me that most of the times it's not hypocrisy, but just different brain centers being activated due to changing situations.
While the above thoughts had been vaguely floating around all the time in my mind, the video truly sealed it for me.

Wiredheads
I feel it! i sense it. We are all heading towards a culture of wiredheads. I just can't seem to be a minute without music and information flowing into my brain. Gadgets(ipod, laptop to be precise - not cell phone hell no) wired to my head make it to every place. Bathroom not spared too. Its as though this information is the new opiate. We seem to be living lives with such changes happening over a single lifetime, not a thousand years of history would have seen it. Just compare our mindsets ten years ago. Unfuckingbelievable you could even call yourself 'you'. Slowly we are tapping into the complicated neurochemistry of the brain, tweaking conditions so as to produce the best possible state. Traces of nihilistic hedonism are already apparent. No one seems to be preparing long-drawn plans for the future unlike previously. It's all in the moment and how best you grasp reality - at least thats how i sense things right now. All a learning process. I dont wanna seek closure in any 'doctrine'. Just am so fucking wonderstruck at the level of simplicity and complexity of life. Hell, closure seems to be the worst possible thing. And one of the biggest traps is CULTURE. I dont buy the arguments of culture heads who keep saying we need to preserve OUR culture. National pride etc etc seems to be the biggest farce. Wondrousness of life could not be more shackled with these.

Some thoughts
- Internet is THE mode for gaian consciousness. It's mind-boggling to even contemplate the significance of this medium.
- Not to sound cliched, but, capitalism and consumerism will take its natural death.
- Go beyond being a 'leftist', 'rightist', 'centrist' etc etc. All are plain words in this world of semantic humdrum. Dont limit thoughts to words.
- The perception of mundane life's insignificance reaches such heights that it's a total wonder i am able to keep coming back at it with such seemingly un-apparent doggedness. Fuck it's scary.
- Slowly, i am realising Science and spirituality are more synonymous than it is percieved to be.
- Was having a conversation with a christian fundamentalist some months back. He asked me " Where do you want to be when you die?". I replied "Nowhere in particular. Since the mind is non-local". He started barraging me with such inane reprovals like - you heretic, how can you lose your identity etc etc. It got me thinking, why are we so bothered about identity? Is it inner harmony? No dammit...it's just pure delusion. The 'will' never ceases to stop controlling our life.
- This is not pseudo shamanistic bullshit :D

Rant wonly
Members of the psychedelic tribe who refer to themselves as the superior "Homo Divinus" sense this impending consciousness paradigm shift in the world not too distant into the future. Heard some absolutely wonderful comments about the illusion of consciousness and time perception. One can no more deny the true profoundness of these psychedelic mind alterants in the present degraded mentality spread over the world. Scientists have long last awoken to this ridiculous 'war on drugs' pasted across the faces of all smug dumbasses. Researchers at Johns hopkins found that psilocybin has mystical effects. Hurray!!! If only the idiots at washington provided more research funding rather than spending 1 billion dollars an year to prove that these drugs were harmful. I mean, there is a limit to empty headed low-fucking-intelligence. Bahh!!!! We could right now have had so many more insights into the mind states. We truly have been pushed back(scientifically) by the present conception of morality and self-centeredness. That said, bloody care must be taken to ensure proper set and setting. Otherwise, the bad trip would be the most violent, singularly inexcusable event of one's life. Had this wonderful conversation with my dad, where he explained the various pitfalls in clinical trials before releasing a drug, let alone legalising it. Ha, with none of these drugs patentable, no drug company is willing to sponsor.
So fucking pissed off.

in a trance....
do not discriminate..do not discriminate..do not discriminate. make no weakness become you - sentimentality, ego, hatred. find limitations, and they are yours. scale limitations and you're free. you're not bound. life and death two sides of same coin. whether the world is profoundly beautiful or manically depressing is all your perception. realise that and transcend it. beyond good and evil - dont know it. realise it. whatever that can be reformed is in you, so stop the relentless "i can change it all" delusions and reform yourself. systematic reasoning, theorising and postulating based on "fact" can only go so far. do not follow nature, defy it. aaaahhh my blake, venerable schopenhauer - i bow to thee. krishnamurthi, vivekanada, bohm,einstein.......VEDANTA...pillars of true thought. the only unchanging in this vortex of change...
..i wish to embrace the above from the bottom of my "thoughts"
